Why should I attend Shadows Private Club instead of another private club?
Here’s why:
We are the only lifestyle club in the DC metro area.
Not everywhere can you meet people in the lifestyle. We go above and beyond to make the environment fun:
- Only club with an Open bar that serves free amenities (soda, cups, mixers, ice).
- Free food on Saturdays and Sundays (example dishes: fish, chicken, macaroni and cheese).
- We host parties with themes attached to them. In our blackout parties, everything is really dark. When the lights are dimmed, the lifestyle becomes sexy and alive. We also have glow parties, costume parties, queen of spade parties.
- Sundays are game days, and we watch the game while enjoying the lifestyle.
We’re open at least an hour later than most clubs. Most other clubs close at 2, we close at 3.
We host DJ Ruff to make the atmosphere vibrant and dynamic.
We host Wet T-Shirt Competitions, Glory Hole competitions, and a host of other competitions.
We are an exclusive private club and are selective in our admission to make sure that lifestyle members feel safe, comfortable and right at home.
What kinds of mixers do you provide?
We provide all of the regular mixers completely FREE of charge: Diet Cola, Cola, Sprite, Ginger Ale, Tonic, OJ, Cranberry, Pineapple, and Grapefruit. If you want us to provide your favorite mixer, please talk to staff or management, or contact us on our website.
Do I have to be 21 to attend?
Yes. You also need to show State issued ID to enter for us to make sure you are of drinking age.
What is the average age range of your members?
Our members average the youngest for a lifestyle club, and consist of the largest percentage of single women at a lifestyle club in the Washington DC metropolitan area.
What types of payments do you take at the door for our visit fees and annual membership?
We take cash and major credit cards.

Do I have to be a member to attend Shadows Private Club?
Yes. All couples, single men and single females are required to become members of the club. You must fill an application onsite (no online applications), sign a waiver, sign our club’s rules and regulations form, be approved by staff, then pay a one day or an annual one-year membership fee. All memberships fees MUST be paid onsite. You can attend an event on the same day you become a member.
